I agree. I think Umbridge is the only character that I absolutely hate. She's just so evil for no reason whatsoever. I don't even hate Voldemort as much as I hate her.

I agree! I hated Lockhart and Umbridge overwhelmingly more than Voldemort.

Bellatrix is psychologically fascinating. There's definitely a backstory there.

I think you certainly become invested or interested in the characters moreso than in other books. Like Ariodante said, Bellatrix is fascinating and it'd be interesting to know more about her story. But I can safely say I have no affection for Bellatrix.
