+118 It's amazing to see that something going viral can actually do something to stop such a terrible thing, amirite?

I'm waiting to see if it'll actually stop this terrible thing.

It does in some cases, although with Kony I'm not really sure it'll help. The money people are raising is going towards sending military over to try to stop the war (from what I understand). In my opinion, I think we'll just lose more lives and kill more innocent children. I'm hoping they find a more efficient way of stopping the war.

I understand what you're saying but honestly Joesph Kony has been responsible for the kidnapping of over 30,000 children over a span of 26 years and while the Ugandan army may not be completely moral and ethical if Kony is stopped we will have gotten rid of the world's worst criminal of today.

Personally, I don't think sharing some video is going to help. "OMG I SHARED A VIDEO, I JUST SAVED THE WORLD"

Well if you watched the video you'd know that the whole point of going through social media is to get everyone informed. Now obviously not everyone who sees it is going to take part and donate money but we're trying to get Kony famous so people will realize the attrocities he's been forcing children to commit. You may not buy a bracelet or cover your city with flyers but you're being informed, which is the point of the video.
