+133 Other than the nostalgia factor and possible lag, a higher graphic remake of a game that keeps everything else exactly the same, except for purely harmful glitches would always be better than the original, amirite?

As in glitches like random erasure of data, inability to complete an objective, etc. NOT things like a place where you can jump really high, or a way to deactivate certain limitations, or when NPCs spaz out temporarily, providing nothing but entertainment.

I disagree because, other than the glitches you mentioned, they would be the exact same game, so I don't think you can really say one is better than the other.

The point is that graphics make the games better.

I never really care that much about graphics in games, as long as you can tell what everything is and can play without getting a headache.

But you have to admit that between two games, identical in all aspects (including price) other than graphics, you'd pick the higher graphics one right?

Yes, unless I already owned the original, I just wouldn't say it's better.

Star Wars: Battlefront. Hell yes.

I see the point you're making, and I won't disagree that graphics have an influence on the quality of a game, but I think it's negligible compared to that of other factors.
