+163 In the song "Hakuna Matata," Pumba says "Every time that I..." and Timon interrupts "Pumba! Not in front of the kids..." You wonder what he was going to say, amirite?

It's Timon* and Pumbaa* And he was going to say "every time that I farted."

Timon is spelled correctly in the post.

I believe the post originally said "Simon."

It seems add that OP would change one and not the other if they actually paid attention to your comment.

I actually did ask a mod to fix the Timon name, but not the Pumba name because I really dislike spelling Pumba like "Pumbaa." it makes me want to actually pronounce it "pum-baaaaaaahhhh!"

Oh Pumbaa and his farts...

He was going to say, "farted." The song goes like this: Pumbaa: And OHHHH, THE SHAMEEE! Timon: HE WAS ASHAMED! Pumbaa: THOUGHT OF CHANGING MY NAME! Timon: OH, WHAT'S IN A NAME? Pumbaa: AND I GOT DOWN-HEARTED- Timon: -HOW DID YOU FEEL?- Pumbaa: EVERYTIME THAT I (FARTED)- Timon: -HEY, PUMBAA; NOT IN FRONT OF THE KIDS! Pumbaa: Oh, sorry...HAKUNA MATATA, ETC.!

My dad had to explain this to me a few months ago because I always wondered too

Fapped.

I don't understand why they changed it it's not like farted is a bad word. In the original movie he says it and it's not like kids grew up sweating by using the word "farted"

I wondered this for the longest time, but then I listened to the song on YouTube again recently and figured it out :)

It's more obvious in the play.
