A bit.

I imagine you're referring to that horrendous propaganda "Obama won't defend the unborn! Will you?" ad that's now appearing on this site. Sorry if you aren't but that's what immediately springs to mind. What my beliefs on the subject are are irrelevant. Attack ads of any sort or topic should have absolutely no place in the world and certainly not on a site often visited by impressionable teens and pre-teens. They only ever highlight facts that make their side seem correct and bend the truth and sometimes even outright lie just to "prove" their point. They don't make you think, they don't present you with a fair picture of EITHER side of the argument. They just stand for that pathetic, immature mindset of, "I'm right, you're wrong! The end!"

This was actually inspired by a "support the dollar bill" ad I say a while ago, but yes, I totally agree with what you're talking about. People need to be allowed to form their own opinions (especially when concerning politics) without being bombarded by biased crap like that. And as for the ads themselves, a teacher of mine once said that a debate is a conversation, not an argument. The people making those ads need to realize that and stop attacking the other side and obscuring the truth (or even better, stop making ads all together and leave it to the unbiased people that state nothing but the whole truth). Clear, inarguable facts are all that belong on things like that. Of course that will probably never happen in this ridiculous political world we live in, which is most unfortunate.

There's currently an ad for a hotel on the right side, with a picture of hippos in a river, one of which has its mouth wide open. I'd rather not stay somewhere where I'll be eaten by a hippo, thanks.
