It is hard to imagine that back in Frank Sinatra's era, pop songs actually had meaning and not just loud dance beats, amirite?

The voters have decided that meekalullaby is right! Vote on the post to say if you agree or disagree.

Songs today DO have meaning. You're just too focused on the ones that don't. Mumford and sons? Florence and the machine? That's some quality shit right there. Sinatras music, while catchy, doesn't seem to go any deeper than love songs that get extremely repetitive.

Really? Look up some of the lyrics to Top 50s songs. A lot of it is just jargon. Back then, what we consider "classic rock/pop" WAS considered "just loud dance beats".

Lol, you think Frank Sinatra's music has meaning
