For the most part, I hate mainstream music. Not because it's mainstream, but because I just think it sucks, with some exceptions. Whether or not something is mainstream should have nothing to do with how much you like it.

I don't think anyone can really define if a band sucks or is good. Everyone is going to have their own opinion about the band/artist. Some may like them, some may not, but one minority's opinion doesn't define the band or artist themselves. If you like mainstream music, that's awesome. If you like other music, also awesome. Everyone is unique in their music tastes.
