That's usually a really good start to my morning. It means my body is so well-rested that it naturally woke up by itself, I don't have to deal with a stressful alarm rousing me from sleep, and I even get a few minutes just to lazily drift into wakefulness.
I'm trying to pull an all-nighter right now. Right now, 5 minutes of sleep sounds great. But in general, I sometimes feel groggy when I first wake up, but an alarm clock could only make that worse, so I still prefer waking up without it.
I'm lazy >.< I hate getting up any earlier than I absolutely have to. And whole lazily drifting into wakefulness usually turns into a half hour of me struggling to get out of bed xD
If I have to wake up at 5am, I like when I wake up in the middle of the night like around 1 or 2. Then I can be like, "YES!!! 4 more hours of sleep!" Waking up 5 minutes before is like, "Great. 5 more minutes. I might as well just fucking wake up already, but I won't."
I have to set three different alarms just to make sure I wake up because I just can't do it with the first one, even if it was at the same time as the last one. Days are always better when I wake up on my own, even if it is five minutes earlier.
That is so irritating. I used to always check the time when I woke up, and then when I would see that there was only five minutes, I would just sit there in anticipation.
So then I decided I wouldn't check the time anymore, which works out great most of the time, except for when I wake up an hour early and end up sitting there thinking to myself because I figure it's not worth going back to sleep because I only have five minutes but by the time I actually have to get up, I've lost an hour's sleep.
That's been happening to me consistently for the past few weeks and it's pissing me the hell off... Sleeping is the best part of every day and I do NOT want to be gypped out of any part of that time, however small it may be.

Okay so since I wake up every two hours or so, does that mean my body's well rested enough that I only need two hours of sleep at a time?

It's not as bad as waking up 5 minutes before you alarm goes off because your house is on fire
Waking up 5 minutes before your fire alarm goes off would be an advantage.
But having a house on fire would ruin your morning more than waking up five minutes early. In my case it would at least.

like pouring your cereal and then realizing there's no more milk left in the fridge :P
Actually, many thing ruin I'm morning faster than that.

Reread the post carefully.
I guess that you're trying to say MY morning, not I'm morning, right...?
Exactly. MY morning, not I'm morning. YOUR morning, not you're morning.
You wanna know something that ruins your morning faster? Having your girlfriend breakup with you before your first class...
