I read a book once about a serial killer, and at the end it turned out to be the guy they'd spoke on the phone to for about 5 minutes halfway through. It was a really good twist though.

hahah i'm a really big fan of detective shows like monk and psych and i've gotten really good at picking the killer because of this rule!

Have you ever read the Deadly Little Secrets series? The second and third book are exactly like that. I like it though, it keeps you on your toes.
