The phrase "I'll cross that bridge when I get to it" is kind of obvious. I mean, have you ever tried crossing a bridge BEFORE you got to it? It's rather tricky, amirite?

Not really. The phrase is really supposed to mean that you'll worry about a problem when it becomes important, but I made a joke by explaining it in physical terms.
