Our prom was about a month ago, because the majority of upperclassmen have AP and IB exams the last month of school.

When I was a senior, my school had prom at the end of June, right before graduation. It's always been like that there.

Our prom was the weekend before the start of AP tests...

Our school ball was scheduled to be on around the same time that there were lots of exams on, so they had to change it to a better time.
