Making a new color would be INSANELY hard. There are only shades of the original colors. amirite?

You cant MAKE a color because you have probably seen almost all of the colors in life.

exactly what I was thinking.. hahaha.. :)

Well actuall@127534 (ilikepie_ftw): I believe Ive heard something about how humans cant see all the colours, and some animals see more colours than we do.

That's true.
Though if you have XX chromosomes, you have a 25% chance of having extra rods/cones in your eyes to see a wider range of color than other humans.

its funny that you posted this because it is on me and my friends bucket list. but it would be hard
by Anonymous13 years ago
it's impossible because colors are just different wavelengths in a spectrum. only some wavelengths are visible, to humans and animals. creating a new color that didn't already exist would be like creating a new species overnight.

That is SO true. Like... how do you discover a color?!?!

You can't make a new color, as far as nature ... but you can create a new Crayola color. LOL
