Yeah, I'm usually in my office with my headphones on and the lights off and the curtains up. So it feels like a quiet day, pretty much everyday.

That's awesome, here we've got one open floor where all the other developers sit together. Sitting next to one person and with 3 others at one desk island, so they usually require you to be a bit more social. Can only put my headphones on when I have a lot of work to do and I don't want anyone to disturb me :)

I have worked at some companies that have a lot of them around yes, but the place I work at is awesome. We do talk a lot about nerd stuff (favourite topic last week is ofcourse Diablo 3) and have awful nerd humour I just love.

I'm a Java Programmer, it's usally really cool, but sometimes you're bored aswell when there's not much work to do :) How about yourself, what do you do?

Oh that is cool. I work at a self storage place in the office. It's really really boring and I usually get all the work done early in the day so there isn't anything else to do except waste time until I finish -_-

Ah, I've done something similar at a huge shoe store... I was down in the storage continuously placing shoes back in the storage and sending new ones to the store when requested. Luckily I wasn't alone while doing so, so made a few friends there, but I've had better jobs. Is it a summer job/job next to school or fulltime now?

Yeah that doesn't sound too fun, but making friends makes it easier. It's full time, I get paid really well for not doing very much so I figure it's worth the boredom.
