Which is why you should learn to read braille. One can never have enough back-up plans.

I went blind in February. I'm getting my vision back slowly though. I was completely blind on both eyes, but I can see enough to read if the words are big enough.

Haha. I didn't see that one. My brother actually looked up learning Braille and was explaining it to me. It sounded difficult.

well i know this doesn't really come close to actually reading a book, there are audiobooks and things that read to you so you can still appreciate the stories

This reminds me of that Twilight Zone episode with the guy who loved to read but never had any time to. *SPOILER* He ended up living a nuclear explosion and was the last man remaining and when he sat down to read all of these books, his glasses broke.
