But is that a reference to something else? specializing in cubes? I just don't understand why it got so many thumbs up unless I am missing the joke..

What it means is that I'm saying that I'm good at ice sculptures, and then I go on to say that I'm only good at making ice cubes. Do you know what ice cubes are? That's the name for the ice that goes in your drinks.

OH I feel really stupid, I get it now.... I thought you were talking about the people who actually make ice sculptures, like swans and stuff. And then I assumed that it was a common saying in general to say that you "specialize in (something that sounds like 'cubes') and that you were just making a pun on ice.. not sure if that made sense, but that's really funny actually!
