+395 I don't understand those couples that have a small fight then a minute later say they're single. I have fights with my parents all the time but I don't say that I'm an orphan. amirite?

You don't become single only because your girlfriend/boyfriend dies, unlike becoming an orphan

But boyfriend and girlfriend can break up. You can't "break up" with your parents, so the only way to become an orphan is if one of them dies.

Unless they've broken up or made it official they're apart, I say they are overreacting. The only exception is how bad their fight was. But teens say that all the time. Some just don't care enough about their fling to resolve it the right way instead of crying about it on Facebook. I'm sorry, and I can't judge, but it feels much like that.
