It's not that Kristen Stewart is a bad actress, so much as Bella Swan is a bad character to play. amirite?

Bad character to play in general or just a bad character for Kristen? ...if that's the case I think she looked the part, as Bella Swan, but she just didn't act the part out very well.

I think that movie Snow White and the Huntsman looks interesting. I looked up some reviews to find out if it's worth seeing, and critics either said it was good or they were bagging on Stewart throughout the entire review. I think people should just forget about her performance in Twilight. Like you said, Bella is a crappy character to play and maybe Stewart was just not given much to work with. People should give her another chance.

maybe she happened to be cast into horrible movies. She hasn't been acting for very long so maybe in the future she'll get put into an exceptional movie and play an exceptional character. It could've just been a long line of bad luck for her.

I've seen her in movies when she was like 11 and 15. She was better in those, but I think she lacks facial expression when she is acting.

There was that good movie about her being diabetic and her and her mom were in like a panic room in this old brownstone and these bad guys came in and ohhhh it was good. She was a much better actress in that movie.

I read a positive review on her performance in the newspaper today. Apparently she shows a lot of more emotion in this film than in her past performances.

I don't think she's a great actress, but playing Bella definitely didn't help. The problem is that if you get one bad role in a well-known movie, people seem to only remember that role. I have this thing for Zac Efron and everybody always tells me they hate him because of High School Musical.

It is a bad part, and I'm interested to see how she does as Snow White, but she is sort of unexpressive. She was in some Disney-related movie way back when, I think called Catch That Kid? Her acting was pretty awkward in that, too.

When I look at Pattinson, I liked him in Harry Potter and Water for Elephants & such, but in Twilight, I think all of the characters seem like terrible actors. I think the director's vision for their acting and the parts are just bad. I'm not trying to say that Kristen is a good actor, because I don't know since I have seen her in nothing else, but I think the part contributes a lot to the...bad-ness.

Personally I didn't like her that much in Speak, though I might've been a little extra judgemental when I watched it because of how much I loved that book. She was fuckin great in Panic Room though. she was only like eleven in that one.

I saw The Cake Eaters a few years back, and really just disliked Kristen's acting and the movie overall. My classmate was so offended too, not only because she loves Kristen, but her aunt also directed the movie.

Thank you! I've seen a few of her other movies (Speak, The Runaways), and she really isn't too bad. Twilight was an overall awful movie and just masked any possible talent any of the actors/actresses had (Like Robert Pattinson)
