+267 It's annoying that you have to be viewed as the "really smart kid" in highschool just because you do your damn work. You don't have to be really smart to do well in school, you just have to be smart enough to know what's more important. A lot of people do bad in school because they are on facebook all day instead of doing homework or never show up to class. amirite?

It really irks me how some kids are failing just because they never do their homework. Most homework assignments aren't very challenging and take no time all. They could have so much potential if they just stopped being lazy.

Some people don't like doing busy work. Not to be conceited but I'm one of the smartest people at my school, but I don't do my homework. I always ace the tests. I got 2330 on my SAT just sayin. Homework shouldn't be required if you do well on the test. It's not a question of being lazy, it's just that some of us aren't brainless robots and we don't want to do homework if it doesn't benefit us.

Well I know quite a few kids who are literally failing because they're lazy and don't do their homework. I agree with you that some homework is pointless and annoying, but does it really hurt to do it occasionally?
