:Umm, that's not what I said.. Its nice to make anyone smile, and "cuteness" is subjective. I honestly was thinking of kids, or even elderly people, not a love interest. Don't assume the worst from a simple statement.

The post does not say "it's nice to make anyone smile, amirite?" It gives a restriction based on cuteness. Even if you don't mean good-looking, what makes kids or elderly people more worthy of smiling?

Oh come on, even though OP wasn't talking about romantic interests, you can't deny that it gives you a little tiniest bit more satisfaction to make someone you find attractive/have a crush on smile than anyone else. ;)
