-8 It would be so awesome if everything were linked. Like instead of having a Facebook, Amirite, Bungie.net, Steam accounts, you had an Internet account. Everyone would know who you are on all sites, so your followers/fanbase can find you. You can have a pre-made character, fully and totally customisable (down to each hair if you so wished) so be an avatar in any MMO you play with that type of graphics (Maplestory is kind of the odd one out, graphics-wise) amirite?

this is incredible

It would be cool, but think about the security issues. if someone hacked your account or found out your password, they would practically own you. At least, they would own your internet persona.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

So you can have like multiple passwords or security things. If all site combined their security, it owuld still be awesome.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

That would be stressful and less fun to go through a procedure every time I wanted to get in.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

yes. You log in, but you need passwords fro each sector. It's like everyone knows who you are, if you so wish, but only in relation to your other virtual selves, not you, irl.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

That way, our virtual lives will be more organized than our real lives. :/

by Anonymous 11 years ago

If you threw a grenade and a pile of 100 random items collected from random places over the globe, it would still be more organised that most of our real lives.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Was that supposed to be deep?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

No. I'm saying most of our real lives are incredibly disorganised.

If you left yourself logged in...

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I'm talking to my best friend on the phone. It's now 2am. I see no need to close my browser

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Can I just say that you are a butt?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

You have the right to say whatever you want (for the time being) but I'm not sure I've said anything offensive...

by Anonymous 11 years ago

yeah sure why not?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I was talking about blockhead.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Oh sorry

by Anonymous 11 years ago

This sounds awful, in my opinion. I can't be the only one who likes to keep accounts separate, can I? Aside from the security issue of having every single thing you do accessable from ONE place, who wants everything following them everywhere? You go on Steam to play games and, oh, your boss, who knows your Facebook account, can contact you in the middle of it? Do you really want every person you've ever contacted on any website to know your catch-all account, or be able to contact it? Sounds like a nightmare. Sometimes it's nice to just start fresh somewhere nobody knows you, or to be able to just detach from real life for a bit. Right? Or maybe it really is just me. :P

I say no thanks to the option to be stalked anywhere, any time, by anyone

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I mean you can have the option to tell them, and they'll know your IGNs and stuff. Not if you're online or whatever, just know how to contact you in other games.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

That is the stupidest idea i have ever heard.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Whatever. Most amiriters disagree with you.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

if you'd linked my Facebook to my tumblr I would die

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Okay, instead of you have to link everything, I'll say again that you can have the option of easily linking everything. You can unlink for whatever reason.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Did Ryan Howard not have a similar idea with WUPHF.com?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I would die if anyone from facebook saw my tumblr, and I wouldn't be extraordinarily happy if the people I know in real life found me on amirite or youtube either. I need to keep my websites very separate.
