+205 Many schools nowadays seem to be not letting the students form their own opinions by constantly imposing their "This is good, this is bad, no grey area" views upon the students, especially about controversial topics like religion and gay rights. This should not be the case, amirite?

Religion maybe, but it's perfectly normal - and even expected - of schools to raise awareness about gay rights. That is, explaining that everyone is equal and deserves the same rights regardless of sexual orientation. No grey area there.

No, I'm talking about schools oppressing gays and saying they shouldn't have the same privileges, or sometimes, saying they'll all go to Hell.

You just did the same thing you're complaining about schools doing. You basically said that schools say there is no gray area. This is bad. Your statement has no gray area either.

A lot of people seem to be misunderstanding me. I am in support of gays, not against them.
