+198 You know someone (or some people) that use short versions of words so much, they don't know the long word (like condo, bra, bi, etc.) amirite?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

those shortened versions are so common, they're not just teen slang, that it would almost be weird if someone said the complete word every time. Just because we say these doesn't mean we don't know the full word. I know none of my friends that say brassiere and only one of my friends says condominium but it's just 'cause it has the word condom in it...

I didn't even know "bra" was short for something...

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I think it's short for brassiere. But nobody actually calls it that anymore.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Yeah brassiere or brazier.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Or Brazzers... No?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I cannot find my brassiere! I must have left is at that bisexuals condominium when we were playing Monopoly, Sorry!, The Game of Life, et cetera.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Like PacSun!

by Anonymous 11 years ago

In one of the malls around where I live, it actually says "Pacific Sunwear" and people //still// don't know.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

it says Pacific Sunwear at the mall near where I live too. That's how I learned. I knew the Pac stood for Pacific though.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I didn't know PacSun was short for anything

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I guess they're doing it on purpose. It use to be Pacific Sunwear

by Anonymous 11 years ago
