Well that depends - would I become immortal but still become more decrepit with age? Because, if so, I definitely wouldn't choose immortality. Life would be horrible. However, if I was immortal through becoming a cyborg or something similar, then I'd definitely say "Yes!" to immortality, because that would be glorious.
I wouldn't want to even if I stay youthful and shit. I feel like death after a certain amount of years would be like going to bed after a long day and I'd be ready for it. And that I'd get tired of life after about 150 or 200 years, let alone immortality.
I don't think it seems weird to think about ceasing to exist - I think it's just something to avoid if possible. I mean, life is some pretty cool business that I'd like to keep up.
I don't believe in an afterlife either. The idea of an afterlife is unnerving to me, when I die I wanna just die. It seems weird to think about ceasing to exist now, but after the fact it won't even matter. Not to me at least, cuz I won't be here.
Well considering that I don't believe in an afterlife, me simply disappearing and ceasing to exist would be most undesirable and wholly wondrous to avoid in my personal opinion.
If you watched ''In Time'' starring Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried, Matt Bomer's character says something like ''even if your body doesn't age, the mind does.''
So no, I wouldn't want to be immortal. I think we would all get to the point where we've seen as much as we could and get tired of living.
Could my family be immortal as well? I certainly wouldn't want to live forever and watch the only people I care about die before me.

Well yeah I'm gonna avoid it. I'm not tryin to die right now.

Well, yes, of course. But I mean avoid it when I'm 92, as well.
