+433 An overused joke in Disney Channel shows is: "I will never EVER do that for you!" "I'll offer you money." "How soon do you want it done?", amirite?

Or "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" "*says something completely irrelevant*"

Disney has gone completely down the drain. The acting is absolutely appalling, and the jokes aren't funny - they're typical and overused. And the fact that they have extremely unskilled actors saying them makes it worse.

I feel like it would be better if they hired older actors who looked younger instead of all young actors. A lot of it is just way too over-the-top.

I think that they are hiring younger actors because younger and younger kids watch the channel. This is a bit off topic, but I hate when people justify this crap on TV by saying, "They're kids! They enjoy stupid humor." Children are far smarter than we give them credit for, and they can enjoy good shows with good humor - not the cheap kind on Disney channel. When I was younger, I was able to appreciate the dark humor of Lemony Snicket, and I would watch shows like Full House, Boy Meets World, Fresh Prince, and so on. Those shows are a hundred times better - in terms of humor - than the shows on Disney channel. I'm showing my sister some anime that has romantic-comedy themes. She loves them! They're way better than what's on Disney. Children aren't that stupid.

Like you, I enjoyed the dark and dry humor of Lemony Snicket. I also was amused watching Fresh Prince and I occasionally watched Boy Meets World. But I refuse to believe Full House was actually funny in anyway. I think I laughed at it a few times as a kid, but I never truly enjoyed it. I actually watched a few episodes and realized - NONE OF IT WAS FUNNY.
