My aunt who makes a big deal about everything when it comes to her kids (what they eat, what they watch on tv, ect.) is against Spongebob because of this episode. It is the first and only episode she'd ever watched. Parents these days just don't seem to give Spongebob a chance anymore.

This episode is 12 years old. All the episodes that are a little..."off" you could say are the older ones. It's a lot more kid friendly now, not that it wasn't to begin with.

Slightly disturbing? Yes. But it was still a cool and funny episode. It had an actual storyline and jokes, something you can't say about the newer episodes.

I'd say about 80% of all spongebob episodes are disturbing in someway. Any episode that features Pearl is especially so
