+302 If Thomas Edison didn't invent the light bulb in 1879, and if Isaac Newton didn't come up with his three laws of motion, someone else would have discovered/invented it later down the track. amirite?

Thomas Edison didn't invent the light bulb, it's actually Nicolas Tesla. Thomas Edison was just the business man who made it popular.

Nikola Tesla invented the power generator. The original inventor of the light bulb was Humphry Davy.
