If a movie involves bringing back someone/something from the dead, no matter how good the intentions, you know there's no way it'll end in a pleasant manner, amirite?

I'm 500% sure that Tyra Banks played a doll and therefore she was not dead but rather inanimate.

The attempt was to bring her mother back to life which was a fail but it didn't actually end badly.

True. I forgot that her original intention was to bring her mother back. I admit defeat.

He was not breathing and would not have been alive otherwise if the miracle man hasn't brought him back so he was dead.

My second was more relevant. Also I answered my own question via imdb. I think you may have found the one exception to this rule. Pet semetary, wakewood, Child's play, Frankenstein, mummy movies, etc. I'd say this is still accurate like 99.9% of the time.
