If you think about it, just driving to the grocery store, you pass hundreds of people you've never met before, that have their own stories, their own dreams, and their own problems. But, we may never know anything about them. It's miraculous to think that the random stranger at the mall that you accidently make eye contact with could one day be a very important part of your life, or nothing at all, amirite?
For some reason, this POTD reminds me of the one from 2 days ago.
I was just about to say that. I looked back, and they're basically the same, but this one is a little more specific.
this post is a comment on that POTD, i'm confused
This one is more about the details in their lives and the significance they could have for you, whereas the other one focused on the different worldviews and essentially universes created by our different perceptions and filters. Same vein though, I would like to get more philosophicalish POTDs like this!
the only reason i know this is because i replied to that comment, haha
For a second I thought we had a repetition.
That's what she said
I think about this all the time, especially at airports. I think it's the most obvious there, for me. Fantastic post, I'd love for it to be POTD.
This is worded beautifully.
The 10 year old boy who played the villain in a play I went to see is the same man that I'm in love with 8 years later.
For me, the girl who played the heroine in a play at age 8 is the girl I'm trying to get with. I can't believe that play was a whole 4 ½ hours ago :')
GMH
I don't know if you're talking to me or not, Harold, but I am with him.
Are you serious? >.<
The person who blew my mind with an amassing blow job last night? I'm trying to convince to give me another one, YEAH! GMH.
Your circumstances are completely different from op... What you're talking about is less impressive than falling in love with Brad Pitt and actually getting with him.
Btw that's just an example to show you your dumb example is dumb. No one blew me last night.
I felt like it was a suitable and relevant story.
I love the last part, that they "could one day be a very important part of your life, or nothing at all" it is simply mind-blowing.
We're out already?
No shit?
I'm driving on the freeway right now passing a ton of cars and this post made me think, what if this is the only interaction i ever have with the people in those cars? What if we all go our entire lives without seeing each other except this one day, this one instant. And we won't even realize it! We'll just see each other in our peripheral visions without even sparing a thought about each other.
Are you driving though? Crash crash crash crash crash crash.
Uh guys... I wasn't driving when i wrote that. I was in the car while my mom was driving. Lolz so much love up in here.
How much does someone want to bet that all of these anons are the same?
Get your eyes off the phone and on the road.
If you're constantly thinking of others, do this for them: Put the phone down. Or else you and someone else won't be seeing anyone ever again.
Shut up, Meg.
http://m.dictionary.com/d/?q=hu...&l=diradic barbarian, you.
Quit being an anus.
You are driving while you are on your phone, GENIUS!
This is fuckin class. First favorite post.
You anons are annoying. If you're going to insult favvkes, then at least don't do it anonymously. And guess what? If you really don't like her posts or comments then you can block her!
Wow this thread made my day
LOL
"hun" isn't a word, douche.
"Guess what" is a statement, hun.
You have go to be fucking kidding me! First off why in the hell are you on your phone WHILE DRIVING? Secondly, you try to sound deep like you are a philosopher, you aren't. You NEVER will be. I have read all of your nauseating posts and I have never met a simpleminded hipster FUCKNUGGET like yourself, and hope to never meet one again. Get off your phone, drive, and get a life. Please go back to school and get an education.
Not really. Everyone I don’t know is just an NPC in my life. When I am not observing them, they disappear to save processing power.
It's a common thought, but still an original post and worded wonderfully. Just because you see similar things on the internet doesn't mean the OP stole them.
Either way, they're my own words.
