+299 People who say bikinis are like underwear, don't understand that everything has a time and a place. A guy could be shirtless at the beach and no one would care, but if he was shirtless on the street he would just be a douchebag. amirite?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Exactly. It's like shoes and ice skates.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

...except shoes and ice skates can't serve each other's purpose. a bra and a swimsuit can.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

You can walk on ice in shoes and you can walk on ground in iceskates. You'll just look like an asshole, much like if you use a bra and a swimsuit for eachother.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

you can't skate with shoes. you can swim with a bra.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

It's not the same as skating with ice skates o, but you can skate in shoes.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I'd like to add that if you were in a non sluttly bra and underwear, no one would care if you were wearing that at the pool.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

That would still be weird

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Not to me. As long as they weren't see through or a thong or something.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

It'd only be weird because why would you want to go swimming in your underwear? But yeah, good point.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Because they probably don't have a bathing suit.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

nobody should* care. but they do. it's "scandalous" -.-

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Wearing underwear in the water would be so inconvenient though considering that that fabric would become super heavy...

by Anonymous 11 years ago

no, the only way a bra could ever be super heavy is if you have a size DD or something O.o

by Anonymous 11 years ago

@favvkes I think they meant that cotton or whatever would soak up the water and become heavier than bathing suit material

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Exactly.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

i know thats what they meant, but it would still have to have a lot of surface area to get annoyingly heavy when soaked in water

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Have you ever taken a bra out of the wash when its soaked? It doesn't support much after that...

by Anonymous 11 years ago

i always wear bras as swim suits. they're fine wet.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Maybe I'm just wearing a weird brand then. :P

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I go around shirtless... o.O

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Honestly, to me they're the same exact thing but DO serve different purposes. What's the difference in seeing a woman in a bra and panties and seeing one in a bikini? Not much. Of course they're for different times but what they reveal and look like are the same thing. Js.

My guy friends always say how hot they get when they're skating on the streets, and they just want to take their shirts off but people will call them douchebags. So I don't think it's douchebaggy for a guy to take his shirt off if it's really hot outside.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

True, but if I put on a bikini, went to the bathroom, and took a picture for facebook, no one would really care. But if I did that in my bra and panties, it'd be child pornography.
