I only knew about that story from Veggie Tales (I'm not sure why I was ever watching Veggie Tales, I am not nor have I ever been religious), so I always pictured it as they depicted.

I've never seen the movie or heard the story. All I know is that there's a puppet and he wants to be a real boy, and his nose grows when he lies.
