+146 Tim Burton is a fairly unusual filmmaker with a soft spot for the macabre, but he rarely fails to release well-made films, amirite?

I was about to get outraged because the wording of this post sucks- I thought it said he always fails to release good films no

I liked Edward Scissorhands. Sweeny Todd was, admittedly, pretty awesome. Charlie and The Chocolate Factory was enjoyable, if unnecessary. Other than that, I'm not a big fan of Tim Burton, and I think that if anything the quality of his movies is declining.

I haven't watched too many of his movies but I wasn't a big fan of the ones I have seen. Corpse Bride was okay but everyone I've talked to about it seemed to enjoy it much more than I did. I hated The Nightmare Before Christmas for a while and now I'll watch if nothing else is on, but I'd prefer something else. I'm biased against Charlie and the Chocolate Factory just because my sister used to make fun of me for having the same hair when my mother kept making me get it cut like that. (cry2) I didn't like Edward Scissorhands. Those are the only ones I know I've seen off the top of my head.
