+122 It's kind of weird how if some people are using certain a meme/rage comic website (9gag, Reddit, Memebase, etc.), then they totally turn against the other sites that are basically meant for the same thing. I mean, it would be a lot better if all those sites combined and made the most ultimate and funniest site ever, amirite?

It goes from weird to vicious and wrong when they try blaming an online community for the massacre of a crowded theater over a stupid rivalry.

Reddit is a lot different than 9gag and Memebase. Reddit's content isn't just memes, there's subreddits for errthing. Things like sports, science, love, gaming, and weed.

9gag copies from Reddit. I see a funny post, then a few days later, I'll see it on Facebook again but this time it says "9gag"

it's like the judeo-christians. you have chans, which are like the jews, who started everything, thinks god is a dick, and unlike the jews they don't pretend to have morals. Then later on reddit, funnyjunk, 9gag, memebase, and the rest copied the chans and changed a few details and added an epilogue. they all hate the chans with unbridled passion, but they also are competitive and unfriendly among themselves, each one believes it's finally got it right and the others are only slightly better than the chans, since they pretend to have some morals, at least.

and everything shat out by the chans is consumed and regurgitated by reddit, memebase, funnyjunk, et al

Don't even compare Reddit to 9Gag. Reddit creates lots of original content, and although sometimes stuff is taken from other places (/b/, and the like), redditors are aware of this. 9Gag acts like it invents memes on its own.

I know right? Fucking annoying how 9gaggers think 9gag invented all memes
