+30 It's a little scary that there are still "Breaking Bad" viewers that are still on Walter's side and somehow don't see how he's gone from protagonist to antagonist, amirite?

Even the show's creator Vince Gilligan has said that this was the plan, "to make a Mr. Rogers type of character and turn them into Scarface"

You either die a poor man, or live long enough to see yourself become the Heisenberg.

I'm still on Walt's side, but I think there are a lot of things he could do differently.

But that's what makes it so good, you have to sympathize with him at first and then slowly you begin to hate him. And there are times when you feel sorry for him even though he's evil, it's what makes it such a great show, all the characters are 3 dimensional

I've only gotten to see up through the season he kills Gus (on netflix instant) since i don't have cable. I miss that show so much.

I finally watched the last season and i can't help but feel really bad for him. Sure he made some bad decisions but he really got sucked into the business. One of the last things he tells his wife is he liked it because he was good at it. As was revealed earlier, he lost his chance at being really good at something (and even better, making a very generous living off of it) when he sold his share of grey matter industries. I mean who doesn't want the feeling of being the best at something? In the end i think the final track where the lyrics go "i guess i got what i deserved" was perfect because he realizes that a lot of what he's done is really bad. I feel for him because he fell prey to human desire to be the best.
