Same with a lot of older songs like I Am The Walrus created entirely on acid trips.

"I'm sexy and I know it" is basically the modern take on that song and it's widely popular. 'hot problems' was regarded negatively because it was poorly sung and people weren't sure if the girls were serious or not.
