All phones are the legacy of Alexander Graham Bell. All light bulbs are the legacy of Thomas Edison. If you look around you, there are dozens of things that are the legacies of dead people. In fact, the presence of the dead is greater than the presence of the living. amirite?

i want to give a shout out to the person who invented indoor plumbing.

I GREATLY DISAGREE WITH THAT LITTLE THOMAS EDISON STATEMENT.

Well, obviously, considering there are more humans that are dead than currently alive.

If Alexander Graham Bell didn't invent the telephone, someone else would have. Same with the light bulb, and the wheel and anything else.

Antonio Meucci technically invented the first telephone.
