Honestly? Amirite is basically Facebook. People post their opinions, think they're facts, talk with people they don't know, and argue all the time. And most of them are teenagers. That's what both Facebook and amirite are.

I've found a lot of amiriters (maybe even most) don't find their posts to be facts. Most of us are open-minded and willing to listen to other's opinions, considering that's the purpose of the website. On Facebook, I see posts with romantic song lyrics, people posting pictures (sometimes with irrelevant captions), and a *lot* of complaints about relationships. On amirite, I see a community with open arms, longing for a well-rounded discussion or intelligent debate. People here are usually willing to admit they're wrong. And on the note of teenagers: I'm fairly sure facebook's most popular demographic is people between the ages of 25 and 35 (or around those years.) While I don't know the majority age of amiriters, I know that it doesn't matter because most people here won't judge you because of your age.

Have to disagree with you there. People here are a thousand times more tolerable.

I still find both places full of immaturity. Everyone has a lot of growing up to do (myself included, mind you).

I don't think there are many places (on the internet or IRL) with a complete lack of immaturity, but I see your point.
