+138 You'd rather have a song like "I'm Still Not Dead" by the Riverboat Gamblers played at your funeral instead of "I Will Remember You" by Sarah McLachlan, amirite?

Except those are both awful songs

1) Don't be so pretentious it's unattractive 2) I'm Still Not Dead is a p good song 3) The point was that they were at opposite ends of the spectrum, The Sarah McLachlan song very sad and meant to be sorrowful and I'm Still Not Dead is upbeat and isn't meant to be used in mourning.

Why are you telling my why I used that song wt

Why not just instrumental music? That's what I'll request at my funeral so people can reflect on memories without being interrupted by lyrics

I would want Born to Die by Lana Del Rey to play. The title is very fitting.

Well, I'll be dead so I guess I won't care.

I would want Highway to Hell to play when I die.

A fun idea would be to have "The Bottom" by Sick Puppies played. I think the lyrics are about drug use, but if you look at them literally, it sounds like it's about zombies. Some lyrics: If you wanna sink to the bottom with me Come get gotten, reelin' and rotten beneath We're all rotten, buried and forgotten Livin' it up underground So take a ride You really can't be lookin' so surprised If you can't beat them, might as well eat them No one's gettin' out alive Give it a try It really is a wicked way to die
