I mean, I've DEFINITELY seen the disease one. And I think I remember seeing pictures of two men holding hands with a caption that says, "This is true love. Like if you agree." or something similar.
Adalia Rose is constantly blowing up my news feed with "like if you think she's beautiful".
I don't think I've seen the one about gay people but it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.
No, obviously no one's actually said that, but that is the attitude of pretty much every single teenager on the internet. It's mostly shown through pictures or posts, such as the ones pointing out several failed heterosexual marriages and then implying that if gays were married it'd be perfect and there would be no divorces. Yes, gay should definitely be allowed to do what they want and people can support them. There will be gay people who are in love, but there will also be those who get divorced, cheat, use their partner, abuse them, or simply don't love them.
I think they were trying to say that gay relationships are just as imperfect and have all the same problems as straight relationships. Gay couples fight, make up and break up just like straight couples.
A lot of people are saying that gay couples are true love because they have to go through prejudice and stuff to be together so they must really love each other to want to go through that. I personally think it's dumb because just as there are gay AND straight couples who truly love each other, there are also gay an straight people who hook up and have one night stands.
Yes, that's exactly what I was saying. I just thought that most people think that just because people are the former, then the latter is automatically true, i.e, disease=beautiful, gay=love. I noticed that most people point it out with the disease thing, but do the exact same thing with gay people. And no, I am not saying that being gay is a disease or that all gay people aren't in love. Yeah, sorry, it could have been worded a lot better.

I came here to say the same thing. Is that actually a thing?
People on facebook do it a lot, but it's mostly to get likes and shares.
