+286 It's weird to think that in a few decades there will be lots of old people with names like Justin and Brittany, amirite?

It's interesting to think about. Name trends change over time. Back in the 50s and 60s names like Martha, Wilma, Hank, etc were all young people names and now they are associated with old people, while some names, like Thomas, George, etc have endured for centuries. In the future there will be new name trends and the names young people have today will be associated with old people.

Oh, man, I was almost Hank.

I think it'll be interesting to see old people running (hobbling?) around in skinny jeans and hoodies and flat brimmed hats, or typical 'gangsta' wear.

That makes no sense. Old people today don't wear the styles they did when they were younger, they wear what's comfortable :P However, and this is only slightly related, I happen to waitress at an elderly community and one man wears the tightest jeans I have ever seen.

I see most old people wearing things like cardigans, button ups, trousers and sweaters - which were acceptable to wear when they were younger. Of course everyone is different, but this is what I've observed. Kudos to that dude for being able to get into supertight jeans at his age though.

Dude, some people will be completely OG when they are old

and in a few more decades, there'll be elders by the name of 'blue ivy', 'maddox' and 'blanket'

Strangely enough, I actually can see the name Blue Ivy and Maddox as an elder's name.

Who immediately thought of Justin Bieber and Brittany Spears?
