+163 You wonder if babies and very small children understand the concept of growing or if they just think they're going to be small forever, amirite?

Or maybe if they think nothing of it, it's just kinda "lalalala *poops*"

When I was little I thought you would keep growing forever. So when you died you'd be like 20 feet tall. I never thought about how I'd never seen a 20 foot tall person walking around though...

They were too tall to fit out the door of their house.

Or even fit in their house, for that matter.

I understood I'd get bigger when I was little, but I was one of those freaky kids who were learning calculus by like 5, so idk:p

My 3 year old sister understands the concept. All you have to do is tell them and explain.

I thought that once you reached certain ages, you would reach certain heights.

i had one of those little growth marker charts on the wall, so me and my brother could see how much we'd grown since last week, last month ect.. so I knew I was growing

I was always mad because even if I would grow a lot my sister would too. But now I'm taller than she so it's okay.

When I was younger, I always felt like I was the same height. Like, I'd be told that I grew, but I wouldn't feel taller or anything. It wasn't until 4th grade when I went back into one of the 1st grade classrooms that I really noticed it. But, then again, I was a strange child.

Isn't it weird to see all those tiny chairs and short desks?!
