False. And yes, they need to learn how to handle their own shit but when there's no other option, big brother has to step in and help them. Especially if some dick is trying to use your sister.

On television it seems as though girls are less protective about their siblings and guys are more protective. However, I've noticed that it's quite the opposite in real life. I don't know if it's that way for everybody, but based off of not only myself but the people around me, it seems to be the opposite.

Thats how it is for me too. I'm extremely protective of my younger siblings, and my older brother isn't so much.

I posted a picture of a drawing I did with the caption "Hand project for art" (because it had to incorprate hands) and some guy said "I'd like a hand project from you ;)" and my brother said something like "I'm going to fuck you up little boy". It was sweet, in a way.

I think that maybe if my sister was younger than me I would try to protect her like that, but since shes older its different. Ive never felt like i had to protect my younger brother
