-19 The Pope, the voice of god, leader of the catholic church and protector of paedophiles cannot pass moral judgement on anybody else. Evil bastard. Amirite?

You're right, he can't pass moral judgment on anyone. Nobody can judge except God. He is also not the voice of God, persay. The voice of God could be considered the prophets, but the Pope is not exactly the voice of God. Yeah, he is the leader of the Catholic Church (notice the capitalizations throughout this. Remember, proper nouns get capitalized) and he does a pretty good job at it. And please, tell me what you mean by "protector of paedophiles." That's a little off. Please, show a little respect. He's the leader of the Catholic Church, I'm pretty sure that he's not an "evil bastard."

I definitely heard about it, but he is not a "paedophile protector." Just because there were priests in the Catholic Church that molested children doesn't make the Pope a bad person. A victim of the abuse blamed the Pope for covering up something that he knew about. He may have heard about these instances and didn't handle them the way other people would have, but he did not do anything wrong.

He is an evil bastard if he does not report paedophiles to the correct authorities in order to preserve the "sacred" name of the Church. A man like that does not deserve respect. 2. No, it is not the fact that there are priests that molest children in the Church that makes the Pope evil, it's the fact that he was, at one point, responsible for reviewing the sex abuse cases, and he did nothing. 3. Of course he did something wrong. he acted selfishly to defend his institution, and prioritised that over justice.

This is very generalized, but otherwise I agree. Church and state is separate, and if a government in response to the Pope's judgements on things, the church and state begin to blur.
