Yes, this happens sometimes on this site with the "it makes sense if you don't think about it" kind of posts. They sound nice but really don't have much substance or make much sense.

If you think I'm talented with words, then you must not be very good with them. People vote up my comments because they are logical and make sense, there are actually 2 posts about my being logical out of 4 pages on the amirite confession thing.

It's very hard to be linguistically talented without being intelligent. You end up saying things like "supposibly". But being intelligent does not make you right. Put ten very intelligent people in a room and they will all have wildly conflicting views -- maybe all of them wrong.

It's not hard to be linguistically talented and not be intelligent, linguistic intelligence is only one of the 9 kinds of intelligence. And that's my point, being smart doesn't make you right so it's stupid for people to assume that because you sound smart you must be right.
