I feel so excluded because I've never been to camp
Yeah, and even if you do see them next summer, it always feels different. I've only ever had one camp friend that defied that rule.
I know. You never expect to get so close to people in that short space of time, but you do, and then you really miss them. :(
Unless you secretly switch places with them and meet each other's families, then in a twist of fate have your parents get married.
luckily I became good friends with a girl who lives just one town over...and it was running camp...so we go for runs sometimes.
