+168 The "bridezilla" phenomenon is basically a combination of the fact that society has become extremely materialistic,overly individualistic, and the fact that basically the wedding day is the only day a woman feels she has to shine before she becomes a mother/wife. Amirite?

[1] Phenomena are often, but not always, understood as 'appearances' or 'experiences'. These are themselves sometimes understood as involving qualia...." Don't see one listed.

right. but it does happen. I suppose even if the woman doesn't go full-on bridezilla", i don't think anyoen cna deny there is such pressure to have the "perfect" day. To be gorgeous, have a grand,opulent wedding.
