It's sad when someone asks "Are you okay? You look sick!" or "Are you tired? You look it" when really you feel fine but you now have to pretend to be tired or sick so they don't know you just look like shit all of the time. amirite?

People tell me I look tired or like I just woke up all the time, and it's hardly ever true. It's rude, and personally I would never tell someone they looked tired or sick.

Same here, unless they look like they're about to vomit or pass out. Then I'll ask if they're alright because they look sick.

When I used to wear makeup every day, if I ever went to school without makeup people would tell me I looked tired or sick.

I just had this discussion with a coworker as I pointed out earlier this week she looked ill and shee was very ill. I explained to her I was trying to show empathy not point out her physical appearance. I apologized for not realizing some may perceive it differently . I won't make the same mistake again.
