Girls: The school office should provide emergency makeup, amirite?
by Anonymous11 years ago
If you pay for it....
by Anonymous11 years ago
Not emergency pens and pencils but emergency make up? God....
by Anonymous11 years ago
Madie, you have to learn that on Amirite, woman who take care of their appearances or are insecure about what they look like are regarded as shallow and superficial.
However, this is a really silly idea. Buy your own makeup.
by Anonymous11 years ago
I would actually say amirite is more progressive on such topics then most
by Anonymous11 years ago
I know, I was mostly joking. But there are a fair few girls on here who brag about how they don't need makeup, and how it's dirty and disgusting. Not gonna name and shame, but it infuriates me.
by Anonymous11 years ago
Are you serious?
by Anonymous11 years ago
Emergency bras would be nice though. Twice I've had an under wire pop and once my bra snapped in between the cups and I had to borrow a huge sweatshirt.
I should probably stop buying Victoria's Secret bras...
by Anonymous11 years ago
VS has the best though :/
That would be too complicated because everybody has a different size.
by Anonymous11 years ago
As a boy I maintain that no such supply be added
by Anonymous11 years ago
Why?
by Anonymous11 years ago
A girl wearing a tight shirt without a bra. Or the chance of seeing a girl trying to fix the one she has on
by Anonymous11 years ago
It fucking HURTS to not have a bra on, especially if you're bigger. That's a stupid compromise just so that some guys can ogle at your tits.
by Anonymous11 years ago
I was mostly kidding.
by Anonymous11 years ago
Oh.
by Anonymous11 years ago
I agree. Let them hang loose and fly in the wind
by Anonymous11 years ago
Alright, I'll admit your phrasing made me laugh a little.
Has any girl ever told you how satisfying it is to take their bra off at the end of the day?
by Anonymous11 years ago
I don't wear makeup. And why would there be a need to have an "emergency" one? Most likely other girls in your school can let you you borrow some of their makeup they might have in the in their bags..
by Anonymous11 years ago
I'm pretty sure you'll survive without makeup for a day.
by Anonymous11 years ago
Apparently I'm shallow for wanting to feel good about myself at school. Some girls are self conscious and like to put on makeup to make themselves feel prettier. With makeup on I'm 100% more confident and sometimes I wake up late and don't have the time to put on any makeup. Most times I bring my makeup bag but sometimes I forget and I go the whole day without make up trying to avoid eye contact because I feel ugly. It may be a bit of a silly idea as far as real life goes but the point that this post was getting across is that if you forget to put some on, it would be nice to have a place where there would always be some to your dispense. I'm expecting quite a few downvotes because 'lyke omg if u wear makup ur su superficial and shallow. gawd I wear no makup and i look fyne. U r a judgmntal bitch. get sum slf esteam' etc etc. obviously I hope you don't really type like that.
by Anonymous11 years ago
I personally feel like I understand what you're saying, but if your whole attitude and outlook on the day is effected completely by some makeup, you need to find some deeper meaning to your day.
by Anonymous11 years ago
I don't wear concealer(the brown substance). I wear eye makeup and that's it. How does caring about your appearance superficial or shallow?
Me feel self conscious when I don't have eye makeup is different than being prejudice against someone fat(THAT'S being shallow/superficial)
by Anonymous11 years ago
No...they both are because you're acting like what you are on te outside is directly related to who you at on the inside. If you don't have eye makeup, you think you aren't as "worthful" of a person. Right?
by Anonymous11 years ago
no you misunderstand. I am still a worthful person but I just feel nervous and self conscious of what others might think of me.
by Anonymous11 years ago
I feel like he can call you shallow, because you're so worried about your appearance at school, as if everyone in the school is looking at you and revolving around you or something.
by Anonymous11 years ago
I think what's making people call you shallow is that you referred to not having makeup as an emergency. The way it's worded sounds as if you would go into a complete panic attack without makeup and it's an absolute necessity for you.
Sure it would be nice to have "backup makeup," but I don't think it's the school's responsibility to provide that.
by Anonymous11 years ago
Why did no one realize this wasn't serious
by Anonymous11 years ago
Cause its not even in the fun/jokes section..
by Anonymous11 years ago
Most people won't notice you're not wearing makeup unless you usually wear quite a bit, mostly on your eyes.
by Anonymous11 years ago
Yay for never having worn makeup in my life outside drama performances...
Having never worn it I have no reason to believe I look better with it on. Plus the last time I tried to do it myself, even for drama, I poked myself in the eye five times before calling my acting buddy I help me...
by Anonymous11 years ago
My school had emergency makeup removal thingies. The idea of wearing makeup to school is just sort of weird.
by Anonymous11 years ago
The reason I posted this was because I had a zit unexpectedly show up on my face, and it was very noticable. I had mean kids ask me "What's that on your face?" and then everybody would look at me. I don't have any friends that carry makeup on them. I normally don't wear makeup, but I think it'd be nice if the school had some that I could've used. So sorry if you thought I was a superfical bitch who can't go a day without wearing makeup.
by Anonymous11 years ago
I don't think you're a superficial bitch. I just think the school shouldn't have makeup you could have used and your pimple doesn't matter. Schools are supposed to provide you with the materials to learn, toilet paper, and maybe free tampons, not the materials to looks good. Which is why all the shirts and pants they give you when you get a dress code are fugly :P Make up is expensive and has nothing to do with school.
