I've always thought essentials like housing, food, medical, etc. should just be automatically given to people and money earned from work (obviously wages would be much lower) could be for luxuries like vacations and things like that.

I don't really support communism all that much, but I do think some moderate socialism is a good idea. That way, people who work the hardest can get a //slight// edge while lazy, unproductive people don't get an easy way out.

I never said the only way you could have fun would be with money, but it's definitely a plus. And before someone brings this up as well, I'm aware this could never actually work out.
