>You hate it when your maid #firstworldproblems

"HOW DARE YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT WHAT THE MAID DOES?! SHE IS THERE TO HELP YOU (me) AND YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO HAVE ANY NEGATIVE FEELINGS ABOUT ANYTHING SHE DOES!!" turns to the maid "THAT DOES NOT GO THERE. PUT IT BACK WHERE YOU FOUND IT!" - my mom, if we had a maid.

Yeah, I hate it when my personal chef makes me my dinner, and when my chauffeur drives me around. Life's not easy being a princess

aka my mom

All these comments make maids seem like such a "rich people" thing but it's really not all that big of a deal. If you ever really need one, you can have one do your home for like 80 bucks.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Which is a lot. For a lot of people. Which is why a lot of people are saying "rich people problems."

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I understand that but $80 is more considered, to me at least, about middle class. If that's not the case, you must be calling me insanely rich.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Well it all depends on how often they come. I know people who have maids come once a week and $80 a week adds up pretty fast.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Thats true. I guess it's usually in between middle and upper.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

The only people I've known who had mades are more upper class, upper middle class at the lowest (I don't look at their paychecks, but they have very nice houses). But I mean, I'm sure some middle class people have maids and just give up other things, like maybe they could afford a slightly better car if they didn't have one. It's up to you how you spend your money.

I mean, we have a cleaning lady and we're not crazy rich, but who the fuck makes them tidy your room for you? They're there to clean it, not pick up after you.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Isn't that the same thing...?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Nope. Cleaning = getting rid of dust/dirt. Tidying up/picking up after someone = rearranging things in a neat way.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

And it's the OP's fault for leaving their stuff out, if they'd tidied it properly their cleaning lady wouldn't have had to move it.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

wary Totally...

And by maid I mean my mom
