Yes indeed, but how do you know you have the perfect soulmate, sure you hook up with somebody and decide to settle and you make commitments and decisions together. If you can get along well without getting into eachothers throats, then its a good indication why you are together. I have known many people who are not happy in relationships but they stay together due to other factors such as comfort zone, or they feel they are too old to hit the dating scene, could be health issues with partner where the other does not get satisfaction. The bottom line is that you both talk to eachother and express your feelings and if the other party is happy to meet half way, then its a good sign that you have a happy and healthy relationship. You may not have the perfect soulmate, but at least you are happy most times in your relationship.

The steps to self-actualization don't specify romantic love. All it says it that you must have biologic needs and safety in order to get to love and acceptance, then from love and acceptance you gain self esteem which guides you to self-actualization. You don't need to fall in love to have self esteem.

I don't believe that there is one perfect person out there that completes you. You can work it out with anyone.. No relationship will be perfect. But if you're both willing to try then it can work. Lots of people get so stuck on trying to find 'the one', they waste so many opertunities.

Exactly. There's so many people in most people's cities alone, you can find someone that you are really good with. But I don't believe there's a soul mate. If there was such a thing, it would kind of suck. Out of the 7 bil. people on the planet, if you had a soul mate you'd probably never meet them
